DENVER.Recently an organization called Catholics for Choice launched a state-wide media campaign against Amendment 67 riddled with inaccurate facts and statistics, which must be corrected, since it misrepresents the truth and what the Church believes and teaches.

Covering the pope means a lot of waiting. In our case today, we arrived at the presidential palace after a 20-minute walk around 8:30 a.m., went through very tight security and then waited from 8:45 a.m. until the pope arrived a little behind schedule around noon (due to an extra stop earlier at the Memorial to Victims of Terror after visiting the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum). After a private meeting with President Peres, the two planted an olive tree in the presidential garden and then at 12:50 p.m. proceeded to a large stage nearby to deliver brief addresses.
